Our
Story: In
1985, after five years as a missionary with The Navigators in Mexico,
I, Tim,
burned-out. Too little time alone with God, comparing myself with
others,
cultural and ministry pressures, accentuated by the 8.1 Mexico City
earthquake
– I was ready to leave the field. A friend generously loaned us a
mountain
condo in Colorado for a month. That space renewed and refreshed us, as
we spent
time with God and each other, in a setting of quiet beauty, with
minimal
distractions or responsibilities. We heard God’s voice, and He enabled
us to
return to Mexico to minister for another six years. Since that time,
God has
placed on our hearts a desire to help other missionary families who
find
themselves in similar situations. Our heart is, “To
Provide Rest and Renewal for
Missionary Families.”
