A Few Shelter Guests
|

|
| Our
Guests:
A young missionary family, depleted and
fragile after working several years in difficult circumstances in
Central Asia,
visited us at Shelter Pines. They were involved in intense counseling
and
planning during most days, so Grace Suite
was a welcome retreat. Lynn and I helped them make some sense of their
experiences, played games and went for horse-back rides with their
three
children, ages 5, 6 and 7. We listened to their
stories, ate, laughed and prayed together. When they left, they wrote a
note
saying. “This was perfect for our needs, great rest and peace. Truly a
gift.” |

Mike and Dana, here with two of their four children,
and a visitor, spent part of their Spring vacation at Shelter Pines.
They said
it reminded them of their country “Dacha” when they ministered in
Russia. |

Is
it time for a break? |
 |
 |
Is God asking you and your family to come
away with Him, to be renewed personally, to spend time with your
family, to be refreshed by His presence? |
